Saxon have dropped a third single and video for the track, “Pilgrimage,” from their forthcoming record, Carpe Diem, set for release February 4. Saxon are the very definition of heavy metal, and “Pilgrimage” captures that epic, feeling and grandeur of it all. Biff Byford states: “Pilgrimage is a fantastic word. People go on pilgrimages all the time, not just in a historical or religious sense, but it’s about going and visiting either a place that you feel is special in your life or somebody that’s meant something in your life.
