In case you’ve ever doubted just how wholesome and awesome MxPx, Zebrahead, and Bad Cop/Bad Cop are, the bands have collaborated on an acoustic cover of “Nothing in the Dark” by Mercy Music, to shine a spotlight on the emerging band. Mercy Music opened up for the trio of punk heroes at a sold-out show at House of Blues Anaheim last week, but MxPx felt that opening acts don’t get their fair share of attention, and as champions of the independent, punk lifestyle, the band sought to change how headliners support their openers, recruiting Zebrahead and Bad Cop/Bad Cop to perform a rendition of the track.
