News: Motion City Soundtrack’s Justin Courtney Pierre Announces New EP ‘An Anthropologist on Mars’ and Shares First Single ‘Dying To Know’

Co-founder and frontman of pop-punkers Motion City Soundtrack, Justin Courtney Pierre has announced his new, Brett Gurewitz produced EP An Anthropologist on Mars will be released March 12 via Epitaph, dropping the first single from it, “Dying To Know”. Justin shares the story of what the album means to him: My obsession with Debbie Reynolds started at a young age. I believe I was 12 when I noticed her book, Debbie: My Life, on my grandmother’s nightstand. My parents traveled for work, so I spent a good deal of my childhood and early teen years in the company of my grandmother. We watched The Golden Girls together, and she let me feast on a rotating smorgasbord of Pepperidge Farm products, sherbet ice cream, and giant bags of gourmet popcorn she’d pick up from our frequent late-night trips ...
