It’s hard to believe that Moonspell’s Darkness And Hope is 20 years old. For many fans, Darkness And Hope was the record that many Moonspell fans connected with. The downside? It’s been out of print for years now. But there’s an upside here: Moonspell will release an anniversary edition December 3 which will feature bonus tracks including covers of Ozzy’s “Mr. Crowley,” Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” and a soaring tribute to Portuguese wool music masters MadreDeus, with covers of “Os Senhores da Guerra” (The Warlords) in the band’s native, Portuguese language.
