MONARCH—comprised of Ryan Williams from Red Sun Rising, James Lascu and Matt Puhy from Wilson—just started their new band back in May, releasing their debut single, “The Fray,” and now following up with their new track, “Pearls.” The track calls back to a sound adjacent to Soundgarden, a slight departure from the Muse-like guitars surrounding their debut track. The lyric video also reflects the core message of the song. Guitarist Ryan Williams expands,“We wanted a lyric video that connected the attitude and feel of the song with the overarching message.
