Tributes to late guitar virtuoso and Children of Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho continue to pour in, as the metal community mourns Laiho’s untimely death just weeks ago in December. To honor Laiho, and show support to fans of his music, members of Immortal Guardian—including guitarist Gabriel Guardian, vocalist Carlos Zema, and drummer Justin Piedimonte—along with friends Mary Zimmer (Helion Prime), Semir Özerkan (Oceans of Slumber), and Rex VanCandy joined forces and shot a video covering Children of Bodom’s track “Downfall.” It’s a cover that’s both heartfelt and monstrously heavy, just the way Laiho would’ve wanted it.
