The Vera Project, a youth-led, community-oriented music and art staple of the Seattle scene, will host a DEFY Wrestling match on Jan. 14 as part of the venue’s 20th anniversary celebration. In addition to wrestlers The Bollywood Boyz, Rocky Romero, and Nicky Wayne, Jeff Rosenstock will perform at the event. The wrestling match will follow a sold-out performance by Rosenstock at The Vera Project the night prior. The DEFY event can be attended in person or virtually. The Vera Project’s anniversary celebration, which began with performances by Ben Gibbard and Perfume Genius, hopes to raise $500,000 by the end of this year.
