News: Ex-Creepoid Anna and Patrick Troxell Launch New Project Lovelorn with Debut Single ‘Sickness Reward’

Former psych-gaze outfit Creepoid members Anna and Patrick Troxell have returned with a new project, Lovelorn, dropping their first single “Sickness Reward”, and announcing their debut album, What’s Yr Damage, will release August 6 via 6131 Records. Self-described “drug pop”, Lovelorn was in the works before Creepoid even disbanded, with the debut album, What’s Yr Damage, named or a term of endearment used between the duo. The album celebrates the longstanding romantic and creative partnership they share.  The newly announced project draws influences from the likes of Soulwax, Echo & The Bunnymen, and Spacemen 3, with the duo mashing together analog and digital instrumentation to create their sound that lies on the outskirts of conventional pop music.  Listen to “Sickness Reward” below...
