Automatic have announced their new record, Excess will be out June 24 via Stones Throw. The record sets out to provide a scenery where the ‘70s underground met the corporate culture of the ‘80s, “That fleeting moment when what was once cool quickly turned and became mainstream, all for the sake of consumerism.” Says the band regarding Excess. The trio embodies honing in on corporate culture and extravagance. Themes showcasing alienation and escapism came to light as the band puzzled Excess together.
