News: Alan Vega to Release Lost Album, Shares First Track

Alan Vega is probably best known as the singer of pioneering New York synth punk duo Suicide. That band’s 1977 self-titled debut set the standard for harsh, electro-punk and paved the way for the industrial genre. Suicide was only the tip of the iceberg for an artist who never stopped working. Vega departed the mortal coil five years ago, but left behind a treasure trove of unreleased material. 2021 marks the opening of the Alan Vega archives. An untold amount of music, some of it going back to as far as 1971, is set to be unleashed. Earlier this year, Mutator was released on Sacred Bones.
