News: 7Seconds Releases Iconic Album ‘The Crew’ on Digital Platforms, Vinyl

Known as one of the most iconic albums of the 80s in underground, American, punk and hardcore, 7Seconds have made album The Crew available for the first time ever on digital streaming services, via Trust Records in partnership with BYO. The band was formed in 1980 in Reno, NV and is one of the first to self-label themselves as primarily “hardcore.” The record is known for its progressive and positive lyrics and some of the first in the genre to address racism, homophobia, and sexism. The Crew’s (Deluxe Reissue) audio was remastered from the original analog tapes by David Gardner, its physical format repackaged as a gatefold with a 20-page, full-color book on the oral history of the band, from inception through the making of the album.
