In under six hours, My Chemical Romance sold out their North American tour to the amazement and delight of fans. However, some MCR lovers weren’t so lucky — many claimed that they never had a chance to purchase tickets due to scalpers, while others said that automated price hikes made these tickets unaffordable. Now, the band have responded by adding several new dates to the tour, including one in New Jersey and many in California. The pricing issue came from Ticketmaster’s ‘dynamic pricing’ practice, in which tickets prices were adjusted due to levels of demand.
