MSixSix have released their debut single, Betty Tebbs, with all proceeds from the single being donated to support the campaign for a plaque to commemorate Betty Tebbs on the gates of the East Lancs Paper Mill in Radcliffe’s Festival Gardens. MSixSix will also be appearing at this years Strummercamp Festival alongside Jah Wobble, Carol Hodge, Nosebleed and Random Hand. Betty Tebbs was an English activist for women’s rights and a peace campaigner. She was described by Manchester’s People’s History Museum as “a radical hero who worked tirelessly and with great humility to campaign for equal rights, workers’ rights and peace her whole life”.
