London, UK’s Modern Shakes formed in late 2017 and released their debut EP, Murmur, in 2019, the EP evoked the catchy melodies and thoughtful songwriting of bands like Banner Pilot and Leatherface, the release was backed up with shows with the likes of Billy Liar, The Dopamines, Raging Nathans and Clowns which helped to put Modern Shakes firmly on the map. 2020 saw the follow-up release, Someday, One Day, via Cats Claw Records, with singles Fair Do’s and Cruising getting fists pumping and choruses yelled at shows up and down the country, the band started to gather a following in scenes outside of their home town. The grind continues as Modern Shakes have now released their debut full-length, A Bolt From The Blue, that was recorded by Daly George at The Ranch Production House. P...
