New Jersey’s post-punk outfit Misery! have recently released their debut single, “A Sunny Place For Shady People” via Revival Recordings. The track is the first off their forthcoming EP slated to be released later this year. Vocalist Gabriel Perez discussed the single, saying: “This song was inspired by the mental struggles that everyone goes through and just knowing that more bad times come. It is what you do with what you are given that makes you who you are. Don’t let people take advantage or tell you the direction your life should go.
