Midwest based-emo post hardcore band BOUQUET streaming new video for “Southpaw”

Southpaw, the newest single from the upcoming atmospheric BOUQUET EP (out September 17th), is about dealing with the loss of grandfather and the regret and guilt felt after. “It’s hard to accept you could’ve put in more effort to spend time with someone you love before they’re gone.” – comments the band’s vocalist. “To remember him I wanted to visit important places in his life. Places he’d frequent, places he grew up, places he lived and died in.” Southpaw sonically is the most aggressive track on “Cardinal” but it does a good job of encapsulating the theme of loss which is prevalent on the record.
