Houston hardcore band Mexican Coke stirred up buzz in the hardcore scene after building up a reputation for wearing bank robber ski masks and waving a shotgun around on stage at their shows, and now they’ve signed to Convulse Records (MSPAINT, Gel, Militarie Gun) for a new self-titled EP. It comes out on July 19, and two songs are out now, “Hand Cannon” and “White Pantera.” Both are caustic, fast-paced, under-two-minute rippers that capture the antagonizing nature of their live show. Check them out below. “Hand Cannon” also comes with a video/short film, directed by Derek Rathburn.
