Maynard James Keenan: The New Puscifer Album Is “Very Close”

Following the recent release of their first new music in five years, Apocalyptical, Maynard James Keenan’s Puscifer are set to unveil their upcoming album this autumn. The frontman has said that the record – the follow-up to 2015’s Money Shot – isn’t quite finished just yet, “but it’s very close and we’re planning for a fall release.” Speaking to Revolver, Maynard explains how the postponement of Tool’s tour amid the coronavirus pandemic has affected – or, rather, fast-forwarded – the return of Puscifer, stating, “Whenever we start getting on a roll with music with Mat [Mitchell, guitar] or any of the projects, I always like to look ahead and plan so I’m not over-promising.
