Lobsterbomb return with new single “Not Again” — new album announced
Lobsterbomb、2年ぶりの新曲「Not Again」をリリース！次作アルバムも発表へ
Berlin-based indie/glam-punk trio Lobsterbomb have released “Not Again,” their first new material since their 2023 debut album Look Out.
The track is out now via Ladies & Ladys Records, accompanied by an official music video.
■Sound and lyrical themes of “Not Again”
Clocking in at just around two minutes, “Not Again” is a noisy, fuzz-fueled indie-rock burst that grooves hard and makes you want to move.
Lyrically, the song is about “being real with yourself and realizing the importance of it,” tackling stress and self-reflection head-on.
The band commented:
“We‘re so excited to finally share what we have been working on for the last months! And we are doubly excited to announce that our next album will be released through Ladies&Ladys– we are so happy to be working together and to be part of such a cool roster of musicians! And there‘s still lots more exciting stuff to come…”
On “Not Again”, they added:
“Not Again is out like a field of couch grass! We are so happy to be back with new music – Not Again is a song about being real with yourself and the things that stress you out.”

Lobsterbomb — formed in 2020 — are known for their catchy, energetic indie garage rock and post-punk sound, often tackling introspective and socially reflective themes.

本作は約2分のファズギターが炸裂するノイジーなロック・チューンで、グルーヴ感がありながら思わず踊りたくなる仕上がり。
歌詞では「自分自身に素直になること、その大切さに気づくこと」がテーマとなっており、自己反省やストレスとの向き合いが描かれています。
バンドはリリースに際し、次のようにコメントしています。
