Listen to Weezer’s faithful cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman

After getting their riff on for this year’s killer Van Weezer album, Weezer have now just unveiled their cover of Enter Sandman for The Metallica Blacklist tribute record. Rivers Cuomo and co. keep things (surprisingly) faithful for their rendition of The Black Album classic, though there’s an ace little nod to their own mega-hit Buddy Holly in there. And there could be a chance they’ll unleash it live, too, as they’re currently on the road with Green Day and Fall Out Boy on the long-awaited Hella Mega Tour.  The band’s setlist so far has featured a ton of career-spanning bangers as well as their joyous cover of Africa by Toto from the Teal album – but maybe they’ll replace that one in future with Enter Sandman? We’d take it, that’s for sure. Check it out ...
