After teasing studio sessions with MOD SUN, John Feldmann and Machine Gun Kelly, Avril Lavigne​’s new collaboration with the former two musicians has arrived: Flames. The beautifully anthemic single – which hears the pop-punk princess belting out lyrics like ​‘I still burn for you / Like the sun burns in the sky’ – was written by MOD SUN, Avril and Goldfinger legend/producing titan John, and is taken from MOD SUN’s upcoming fourth studio album, the follow-up to 2017’s BB.
