The NYHC community is coming together to pay tribute to the late Eddie Leeway and raise money for his family. A Blast Furnace Productions-presented show dubbed ‘For the Love of Eddie Leeway’ will go down on June 23 at Lucky 13 in Brooklyn with a Leeway tribute set (details TBA), Killing Time, Token Entry (“original band, short set”), Fire Is Murder (including Steve Gallo of Agnostic Front and Inhuman) , The Ice Cold Killers, Silence Equals Death, and Moment of Truth. Doors at 3 PM, first band at 4 PM, and there’s a $20 donation at the door, with all proceeds going to Eddie’s family. Joe Hardcore also recently said that he’ll be discussing plans to turn the Leeway set at This Is Hardcore into some sort of tribute.
