In December 1969, Jimi Hendrix formed a new power trio dubbed the Band Of Gypsys featuring Billy Cox (bass) and Buddy Miles (drums). Scheduled for a series of 4 shows over two nights at the Fillmore East on New Years Eve/Day; Hendrix gathered the trio to prepare for the shows at Baggy Studios in New York City for several sessions in late December. In 2002, Dagger Records debuted the collection JIMI HENDRIX: THE BAGGY'S REHEARSAL SESSIONS that presents 12 songs from those rehearsals. Not included in that collection is this bonus track "Who Knows" which documents the trio working their way through this classic track.
