Jello Biafra was at No Values Fest in Pomona on Saturday, and while his official role there was for a headlining DJ set on a stage named for him, Jello-A-Go-Go, he also turned up to sing Dead Kennedys songs with a few of the other bands playing that day. During Agent Orange‘s set, he came out to sing DK’s “Police Truck” with them. Tony Hawk, who watched from side stage, wrote, “Now this is what it’s like when worlds collide: I went to watch Agent Orange (one of the first punk bands I gravitated towards) at No Values Fest and they brought out a surprise guest to perform a Dead Kennedys classic : Jello Biafra sang Police Truck. Never thought I’d see JB sing another DK song, especially one from THPS. Unreal festival, and a moment I’ll never forget. Let’s ride!...
