The Italian melodic hardcore band Still No One have returned with their debut full length, This Is Fuel. The album contains a dozen tracks delivered in pure Californian skatepunk style, but this time the band decided to embellish it with the use of strings and piano in some tracks, and there’s even an acoustic ballad that brings the album to a close. The overall sound is immediately traceable to the band’s melodic hardcore roots, influenced by bands such as Bad Religion, NOFX, Pennywise and No Use For a Name, while the lyrics are mostly personal and introspective, This Is Fuel is also a reflection of the band’s view on today’s society.
