Icelandic trio GRÓA announced their signing to the US label Found Recordings. Merging elements of post-punk, noise-rock and art-pop, the band is known for their revelatory live shows, and have opened for acts ranging from Wilco and Pussy Riot to Björk, bringing an explosive and chaotic, yet magnificently arranged sound, unlike any other. The band will also be making their US live debut next month, performing at the Reykjavík Presents: Iceland Airwaves Off-Venue show, held at New York City’s iconic Pianos venue on May 11th as part of the touring festival, Taste of Iceland.
