Hands Off Gretel’s Lauren Tate Announces Solo Album

Lauren Tate, vocalist for Hands Off Gretel, has announced details of her debut full-length album Songs For Sad Girls.Due for release on September 20 via Trash Queen Records, Lauren recorded and self-produced 11 of the 14 tracks in her home studio. “I planned to get my album produced by someone when I could afford it, but there was a certain magic and honesty captured in my recordings that I knew would really move people,” says Lauren. “My lyrics are honest and brutal with songs about domestic abuse, body image, feminism and fear of dying.
