Giver Release Anti Police Brutality Anthem ‘Order From Above’

German hardcore quintet Giver have streamed their new single ‘Order From Above‘, the track is written in protest of police brutality and racism, and released in time for Bandcamp‘s ‘no-fee’ day with all proceeds being donated to ISD (Initiative Of Black People In Germany). Such a forthright political and moral stance is typical of Giver, a band whose LP “Sculpture of Violence” railed exploitative labour, the dissonance of religious discord and ill-conceived concepts of masculinity in the current climate to catastrophic effect. The album, whilst bleak, maintained a youthful vibrancy which truly aims to deliver change on a personal and much broader level.  ‘Order From Above‘ can be streamed and purchased via Bandcamp here
