Ready to solidify themselves as a band to know in the ever growing metalcore scene, FOREIGN HANDS (mentioned in our recent interview with Florida straight edge hardcore / metalcore warriors CONTENTION) have shared their ear-grasping new single “Separation Souvenir”, out today. A perfect blend of heavy and melodic, the song transforms classic structures and lyrical tropes (“cross my heart and hope to die”) and pushes them forth with a modern edge. The video for the track draws influence from the music the band members grew up on, paying homage to clips like Poison The Well’s “Botchla,” and was directed by friend and collaborator Ashley Simpson. “Separation Souvenir” comes as the first taste of the bands upcoming EP, Bleed The Dream, out February 18th via budding hardcore label DAZE.
