Following his UK tour last month, Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett has released a new single, Dead And Gone. Written in 2020 during the pandemic, and recorded in Nashville, he reveals it’s an ode to the characters and character of his Santa Barbara hometown, saying, “My hometown was an odd mix of luxury paradise and working-class grit and continues to be a bottomless pit of lyrical inspiration.” A full solo album, recorded with producer Jaren Johnston (The Cadillac Three) is promised for later this year via Snakefarm in the UK.
