Film Review: Woodstock 99 Peace, Love, And Rage

The 90’s was a spiraling decade from its inception and would meet the height of its decadence with an infamous concert: Woodstock 99. There has been plenty of coverage explaining the downfall of the concert during and after Woodstock 99. One of the aspects that is often missing is found throughout the beginning of the documentary. The shifting musical and pop culture direction following the grunge movement places the event on another timeline, delving into a new perspective of the decade as a whole. HBO launched a new documentary revisiting the sequence of events that became a watershed moment as well as showing the preceding years leading up to it.
