Bristol art rockers Erotic Secrets of Pompeii have released ‘The End of Love‘, the track is their fourth single of 2020, and the final instalment of the band’s 2020 quadrilogy, through Deaf Endling Records. ‘The End of Love‘ is a party song for the end of the world, a hook-loaded, synth-infested track straight out of a fever dream. Lyrically the song bludgeons the listener with a barrage of imagery and metaphor depicting the breakdown of a relationship. ‘The End of Love‘ flagrantly displays its rich tapestry of influence from the pub-rock funk of The Blockheads, DEVO‘s fidgety synths, the crooked zest of Roxy Music, and rabid lunacy of Black Francis and Captain Beefheart. ‘The End Of Love‘ can be streamed and purchased here
