EP Review: Zero Trust – S/T

EPs have always been a vital format in punk and hardcore. Even before the hyper contraction of attention spans caused by a combination of doom scrolling and the anxiety caused by doomed living, the EP has been an important way for underground bands to make a statement. It just so happens that in an era of distracted living, propelled by a cope-aholic culture, that the EP is a format that can potentially punch through the clutter of confusion that we’re bombarded with daily to actually be heard by the masses. The format tends to not be too long that you can’t catch it between tasks, either at home or at work. And it’s not too short as to appear frivolous.
