Eater To Release Remixed, Restored and Renamed Debut Album “Ant”

When groundbreaking British punk rock band Eater first released what was to be known as their debut album, 1977’s The Album, most of the band members weren’t even old enough to legally smoke, drink or drive a car. Perhaps that’s why the band’s vision for what their album should have sounded like ended up getting buried beneath the demands of their label, the overbearing powers of the show business machine and the general tumult of the British music scene.
