DS Exclusive: Brooklyn’s Nihiloceros (Nye-hill-aw-ser-us) release their new single “Skipper”

Ahoy, comrades! We’re stoked to share another cool new track with you today, this time from Brooklyn’s own Nihiloceros! This punk/grunge trio is one of the hardest-working bands in NYC. They help keep the NYC punk scene together with their heavy show schedule and their relentless support for other bands who frequent venues like Our Wicked Lady and Arlene’s Grocery.  The new track is called “Skipper,” and it’s a gritty punk tune with dark imagery about an unnamed boat, traveling on the thin line between life and death. Lyrically, singer Mike Borchardt uses classic mythologies to ponder the idea of eternity.
