Following on from their debut mini-album, D/U, the Hex Domestic EP and paranoiac disco single Missing Person, Glasgow’s Dragged Up have today released their second album, High On Ripple, which is now available via digital outlets as well as on cassette through Cruel Nature Records and on limited edition CD courtesy of Rare Vitamin Records. Drawing its title from the teenage trash-talk of Martin Scorsese‘s 1974 movie Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, High On Ripple sees Dragged Up expanding on the lo-fi garage scuzz of their debut with a mix of Sabbath-esque doom, ethereal spoken word and deconstructed glam-punk.
