In 2002, the original Descendents line-up, Tony Lombardo, Bill Stevenson, the late Frank Navetta and Milo Aukerman, entered the studio to finally record the songs with which they first forged their genre-defining sound. The result was 9th & Walnut, that was named after their Long Beach practice space back in the day, that features the bands’ earliest material written between 1977 and 1980.
