Deftones Have Finished Their New Album, And Plan To Release It In September

To coincide with their appearance on this weekend’s awesome virtual Download TV, Deftones’ Abe Cunningham has spoken a little bit about the band’s upcoming album in a new interview, revealing that the record is finished and “getting mastered right now”, and should be out in the next few months. The drummer explains that the follow-up to 2016’s Gore has been well over a year in the making now, given that the band actually tracked everything in the studio in June and July last year with producer Terry Date (who previously worked on the likes of 1997’s Around The Fur and 2000’s White Pony).
