Defects tackle the “fear of being trapped in a digital reality” in new video, Dream Awake

To celebrate the release of their debut EP of the same name, Defects have dropped a new video for soaring title-track Dream Awake. Says frontman Tony Maue, the single is about ​“that fear of being trapped in a digital reality. The last two years really showed us what that could be like for all of us with socialising being totally limited and having to stay indoors. The only choice we had was to use technology to salvage our socialisation.
