The 2018 Human Symptom album, Dead Objectives‘ full-length debut, set out the band’s stall in an uncompromising manner: here was a band fully committed to their musical and political ideals and not willing to compromise for any spurious reasons of popularity or by pandering to a specific notion of what they should be doing. This individuality is also evident in their relentless and continuing commitment to the DIY ethos. This double A side single, and next year’s album, continue those themes.
