Long Island-based DIY label and distro Dead Broke will celebrate 22 years in business with a pair of New York shows. The “Dead Broke Rekerds 22nd Birthday Showcase” will happen at Long Island’s Massapequa VFW on April 19 and Ridgewood, Queens’ TV Eye on April 20. Night one (the “pre-show”) features sets from Timeshares, Sister Kisser, Fellow Project, Adult Magic, Permanent Residue, and to be announced special guests. For night two, Iron Chic (playing a set of material from their debut LP, 2010’s Not Like This), Toys That Kill, Somerset Thrower, Low Culture, Canadian Rifle, Ezra Cohen & Big City Band, Busy Weather, Cigarette Camp, Chilton, and Radar will perform.
