Dave Mustaine Says The New Megadeth Album Ranks In The Top Five Of Their Career

Following on from bassist David Ellefson’s recent praise for the new Megadeth record and how the band have been able to “expand and try a lot of different things”, Dave Mustaine has also been discussing the follow-up to 2016’s Dystopia – and ranks it within the top five albums of their entire career. As part of The Metal Tour Of The Year streaming event over the weekend, the frontman chatted to SiriusXM’s Jose Mangin confirmed that Megadeth have recorded a whopping 18 songs for their upcoming LP, with this new material sitting alongside classics in their discography like Rust In Peace and Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying?.
