Back in the ’80s, when new wave was king, you couldn’t escape the band Culture Club (CC). In 1983 they dropped their 2nd album, Colour by Numbers, and it sold more than 10 million copies. So, needless to say, they were humongous, and even if you don’t know the name, you probably know some of their smash hits such as “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me” and “Karma Chameleon.” The lead singer, Boy George, was also quite the fashion maverick, so he made a splash on fashion and culture as well. I sadly missed this whole movement and band because I wasn’t alive yet, but as a big fan of ’80s music, I’ve always wished I could experience it somehow.
