Industrial hip-hop collective clipping. have announced details of their fifth full-length album Dead Channel Sky, coming on March 14 via Sub Pop. The long-awaited follow-up to dark experimentalism of Visions Of Bodies Being Burned, the new record takes its cues from dystopian cyberpunk – the title comes from cult William Gibson sci-fi novel Neuromancer – and continues the trio’s blending of styles with elements of rave, punk, hip-hop, techno and horrorcore. To give a taste of the new direction, clipping. have dropped new single Change The Channel, which feels very Prodigy-esque in its intense sonic attack. Joining clipping. across the record are guest spots from Aesop Rock, Bitpanic, Nels Cline, Tia Nomore and Cartel Madras. Dead Channel Sky tracklist 1....
