Chicago Park District responds to Riot Fest criticism

Riot Fest 2024 recently revealed it's lineup... and new location. Until now, Riot Fest had been mainly held at Douglass Park. Along with the lineup announcement, Riot fest issued a statement expressing frustration and disappointment that the venue was no longer Douglas Park. In park, Riotfest stated: "“Riot Fest will be leaving Douglass Park. And – allow me to be as clear as the azure sky of the deepest summer – our exodus is solely because of the Chicago Park District. Their lack of care for the community, you and us, ultimately left us no choice.” Today, the Chicago Park District responded to Riot Fest's claims. You can see that statement below.
