Earlier this year, Brainiac unearthed some never-before-heard demos recorded in the late ’90s before Tim Taylor’s tragic death and turned them into The Predator Nominate EP. The EP was recently named one of the year’s best by Speedy Ortiz’s Sadie Dupuis, who calls them “a tantalizing preview of the never-finished fourth Brainiac album, filled with a preternatural familiarity as fascinating as it is mournful,” and now Brainiac have shared with us a list of their favorite albums of the year.
