Often described as “Powerviolence Jesus Lizard”, the Philadelphia based outfit Big Burly are finally getting ready to present their debut EP, Tumors, that is due out on July 18th via Strange Mono Records and is now available for pre-order. Getting together the members of Sheer Mag, The Company Corvette and Programmed Hatred, Big Burly created a signature sound putting together the bassists Jess Kramer and Ross Pritchet front and center. The guitar-less band is balanced perfectly by Ian Dykstra‘s pounding drum style while Dan T‘s deranged vocals serve up relentless energy.
