Biffy Clyro’s New Album Will “Definitely” Be Out Next Year

It’s been four months since Biffy Clyro revealed that they were in the studio working on album number eight, and while it sounds like progress is going well, we won’t be hearing new music until next year. Speaking to NME about the Scottish trio’s work out in Los Angeles with Rich Costey (who produced previous album Ellipsis, as well as records by Muse, Deftones and this year’s brilliant Berkeley’s On Fire by SWMRS), drummer Ben Johnston says that, “It will definitely be next year, man.
