Bandcamp of the Day: VIMUR

VIMUR are a black metal band who have recently announced the release of their new record, Transcendental Violence due out April 2, via Boris Records. The new record follows the band’s 2019 release, Triumphant Master of Fate,  a record that showcases choppy riffs, stagnant screams, creating a spacious atmosphere. Transcendental Violence loads tracks with coarse melodies, alongside a stagnant and icey aura. Guitars release a swarm of tenacity giving off a bold and powerful compilation in each track. All elements of this fierce record can be heard in the band’s latest track, “Aeonic Upheaval.” “‘Aeonic Upheaval’ is a journey unto itself and encapsulates the sound of VIMUR in one song.
