New York City hardcore band Dog Breath is here to take a bite out of racism and class-based subjugation with Isang Bagsak. The album is a call for unity and a rallying point to shore up resolve for the fights ahead. For as surely as one tyrant will fall, there will always be another ready to take his place. The nightmare is never over for people of color or people who find themselves doing the real work to keep society alive and functioning while others sit on top of them and take the lion’s share of what should belong to all. Check out Dog Breath tearing it up at the Market Hotel in San Francisco back in 2018 and then look me in the face and tell me you don’t wish you were in that crowd. You can’t do it!
